This video is a recorded intersex health and justice education event at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The recorded lecture covers intersex basics, human rights violations within medicine, medical and surgical research, diverse personal narratives of navigating the medical system as an intersex person, current Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) medical treatments, problems with "nerve-sparing" clitoroplasties, affirming, and gender inclusive and trauma-informed alternatives to the current standard of care.
